Traveling during the Holidays is fun but in reality travel in general may expose people to all kinds of conditions that could make them more susceptible to illness like colds and stomach virus.
Here is a delicious and easy Ayurvedic blend of black tea and warm spices that have served as alternative therapies to cold symptoms, sore throat and upset stomach.
Chai Tea

2 cups water
1 black tea bags
4 whole cloves
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp fresh ginger
1/2 tsp fennel seads (Fennel is a good source of fiber so it helps to keep the large intestine and colon healthy).
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
1 tsp row honey
Almond milk
Add fresh water and spices to the pan, bring to a boil for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and add tea leaves. Let it steep for 3-5 minutes. Then add in milk and row honey, and simmer over medium-high heat until it foams. Strain and serve.
